CCC#32 Ink & Masking
Linda over at Studio L3 set this technique for the challenge this week. It's on page 59 of Tim Holtz's book.
I haven't been keeping up with the challenges but thought I'd give this one a go. Enjoyed playing with this.
Yvonne, I'm so sorry! I pasted in the comment I left at the blog I visited prior to yours instead of the comment I wrote for you! How 'bout I try this again?!
I think you created one of the prettiest examples of masking ever! Your use of the Umbrella Man, along with that awesome background with the zeppelin and the gorgeous, high energy colors, really give this a magical feel. You did a great job making the masked image seem to float above the background, and the checked flag imagery just adds to the feeling of movement and excitement. It's a beautifully conceived design and a stunning work of art!
